For another year, BEGE 2023 has established its position as Europe’s leading gaming industry event. The large-scale exhibition took place from November 22–23 at the Inter Expo Center, Sofia, and it demonstrated the latest achievements in the gaming and entertainment industry. The slogan of this year’s edition was “Proximity: Where Progress Takes Root”. The exhibition gathered over 6,000 visitors from over 68 countries and 80 exhibitors from three continents: Bulgaria, Italy, Spain, Germany, North Macedonia, the Czech Republic, China, the UK, Armenia, Slovenia, Malta, the Netherlands, Lithuania, Malta, Romania, Turkey, Canada and USA.
As tradition dictates, the main goal of the event is to provide serious opportunities for building new strategic partnerships and entering new markets.
Once again, long-term partners of BEGE participated in the exhibition, including CT Gaming, CT Interactive, EGT, BetConstruct, Digitain, Advansys,JPL, IGT, Abbiati, Alfastreet, Industrias Lorenzo, UltraPlay, Novomatic, APEX, Merkur, Fininvest, JCM, Amusnet and many others.
During the 2-day exhibition, exhibitors and visitors had the opportunity to find out more about the product presentations of the Varna-based company Piero which deployed their robots to roam around the stands, which attracted all guests’ attention.
All along, the prestigious BEGE Awards 2023 were presented at a glamorous ceremony. These awards are given to companies for achievements and innovations in the gaming industry. The best companies were awarded in 22 categories:

Within BEGE 2023, the Eastern European Gaming Summit was also held. It brought together experts and professionals from the offline and online sectors, regulators and experts who exchanged information, experience and ideas. EEGS provides information and analysis on the latest regulatory and technological developments in the gaming industry, not only in Europe but worldwide. Topics at this year’s forum explore gamification and AI, digital marketing trends, as well as the present and future of regulations and responsible gaming in the gaming industry.
The day before, on November 20th, the EEGS Masterclass on “Using Social Media In The Gaming Industry’’ was held by Prof.Dr. Desislava Boshnakova. The venue of the event was Black & White Club, part of Palms Royale Sofia, Hotel Millennium. More than 50 professionals from the gaming sector took part in it.
The next day, on November 21st, the EEGS Affiliate Conference was held in the same place. Leading operators and affiliates from the industry took part in the conference. Panellists in the discussions included André Machado, who talked about the importance of marketing automation and dynamic advertising messages; Georgi Kanev, who explained how intellectual property affects the affiliate marketing business; and Aleksandra Andrišaka, who gave a lecture on ethics in the affiliate sector.
BEGE 2023 attracted huge interest and exceeded all expectations, and once again, the event proved that it’s the most preferred place for all domestic and international exhibitors to build business, partnerships, and progress in the world of gaming and entertainment.
