What products GPI will be presenting at this year BEGE Expo?

PR: GPI will display chips, jetons and plaques from the Bourgogne & Grasset and from the Bud Jones product ranges. We show as well RFID applications running with our hardwares and softwares mainly at the cash desk and on tables. Other table equipment, like Paulson layouts, Paulson playing cards will be showcased. We feel the Balkan market has a potential of growth and is now ready for quality and secured products from GPI.

Do you feel the influence of the economic crisis on your business in your country compared to other countries you have branches in?

PR: the current situation at many casinos is a push to improve efficiency of equipment. Our RFID applications, already running in many places, is part of this move towards more efficiency.

Do you think that the business climate in the Eastern Europe and the South Eastern region is positive for development of investment in the gaming industry?

PR: even if there may be a hold on some projets due to the current recession, the recent events in Russia and Ukraine will most probably accelerate the development of casinos in Eastern Europe and Balkan region in the next months.
